Gift for Maid of Honor?

I want to get my Maid of Honor something really nice. I don't have any other Bridesmaids and she has done so much for me. I have about $100- $150 set aside for her. Any great ideas? Pretty pleaseeeee.

TIA.

  • Shop for her like it is her birthday. What does she like? Wine? Purses? Massages? As long as it's something she will enjoy, it (and a heartfelt card thanking her) will be perfect.
  • I looked up her amazon wish list. She had lots of jewelry on it. None of it is as nice as something I would like to get her. But I am on a mission. :P

If that's what she specifically wants, then I really suggest that you get it. I would be touched if my friend took the time to peruse my wish list. Honestly, just because you want to get her something really "nice" doesn't mean she'll like it. It's akin to a man buying an over-the-top engagement ring when his girlfriend prefers. small, dainty jewelry because he thinks she "deserves it". Sure, it will make him feel great, but if she's only wearing it to please him, what's the point?

Don't think dollar amount. Be thoughtful.

  • If it's on her Amazon wish list, she obviously wants it.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • Blue Bird, you are so right. I hadn't thought of it like that. I can even get her a couple pieces and make it special another way. Thanks!

  • I think you should get her a gift certificate for a nice spa day.
