Favorite type of shoe:  For comfort:  Ugg Dakotas.  For looks:  Louboutins.  Sparkly ones.

Favorite wine:  Moscato.  I LOVE it.

Dream job:  Honestly, it's SO hard for me to know that.  I've been wrestling with that for so, so long now.  I'd probably want to work for a fashion/beauty/women's magazine, and research products for/write the  beauty columns.  It would provide me structure, allow me to be creative, and would be FUN.

I like to be on top.
  • What is the best advice you can give to younger women who are thinking of getting married?

Do you have any tattoos? If so, how many and of what?
Younger women thinking of getting married:  Ask yourself WHY you want to get married.  Are you getting married because you have developed an ADULT relationship (ie. live together/on your own, pay your own bills, have been through tough times together, know how to fight/disagree in a healthy way, compromise, etc.) AND are SURE that you want to spend the REST of your lives together? Are you sure that you do NOT want to give yourself more time to date other people and be young?  OR do you want to get married because you feel like it's the next "step" in your relationship?  Don't get married/engaged just because it feels like the next "step".

Only get married when you've developed an adult relationship, and have determined that you want to spend the rest of your life with your partner...and you are sure you're done being young and single.

I do not have tattoos.  I want to get one of the outline of the state of MA on my wrist.  And I want it to be in white ink.  And I want a small red heart to be where Boston would be geographically located.  MA feels like home to me.  It's where, for the first time in my life, I felt "free".  It's where I met my husband.  It's where I went to college.  It's where I became an adult.  And the colors of Boston University, where I went, are red and white.  So the colors fit.
  • How often do you get it on with your H?

What is your favorite thing about Chicago so far?

Is your purse a mess inside like mine or do you keep it tidy?

Um... we go through phases.  Before we moved to Chicago, we averaged twice a week.  Then when we first moved to Chicago, we averaged every day.  Then when I started my job/now that I got fired, we average 2x per week.  And whenever we go on vacation, it's every day.  It's never less than once a week.

My favorite thing about Chicago so far... probably my apartment and neighborhood.  It's SO much nicer than my apartment/neighborhood in Boston.

I usually try to keep it organized in that I know what goes in each pouch/zipper pocket.  But within those places, it's a shitshow.
  • If you were only allowed to by one thing from Sephora for the rest of your life, what would it be?

    Chocolate or vanilla?

Probably the Anastasia Brow Wiz.  It's one of the few products for which there really is just NO drugstore equivalent.

    Chocolate.

Of COURSE I will.  I love playing makeup!  LOVE!
  • Will you dress and makeup me for my upcoming conference so I can get a job?

    Tequila or boxed wine?

I will dress and makeup anyone for any reason, at any time.  So, yes.

Both.  I love me some tequila...and boxed wine.

I like a lot of things about myself.  I would say I am a pretty confident person, and I like that about myself.  I have my insecurities like anyone else, but I don't really dwell on them.  I'm pretty good at "giving myself a break."  By that, I mean that I don't beat myself up over whether or not I'm the prettiest or smartest or etc. etc.

I am also insanely intuitive.  I just "know" things all the time.  Seriously, all. the. time.  I am an excellent judge of character.  I can just "tell" things about people without them ever having to tell me.  Those instincts, when I listen to them, are invaluable.

Favorite curse word:  douchecanoe.  Does that count?

    3 items:  Phone, keys, wallet
  • Do you believe yourself to be a good person?

(A little girl asked someone interviewing her that and I think it's a fascinating question.)
  • What is your favorite coffee drink?

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Which of the 5 senses is your favorite?
Favorite coffee drink:  Year round:  Caramel macciato.  Seasonal:  Iced soy pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks

Pasta.  There are a million kinds of pasta, and it never gets old for me.  Nomnom.

Sight.  I think you can learn an ENORMOUS amount about people or places based JUST on sight.  Before they even speak.  What are they wearing?  Are they designer, bohemian, sporty, or laid back?  Are they likely rich or poor?  Are they show-offs?  Are they well groomed/tidy?  (If yes, always, are they neurotic, or control freaks.  If no, never, are they suffering from depression?)  What are their facial expressions like?  Do they make eye contact?  Do they smile?  I mean... there are literally innumerable things you can learn from someone just by looking at him/her.  And I think sight provides you more information than any other sense.
  • Do you believe yourself to be a good person?

(A little girl asked someone interviewing her that and I think it's a fascinating question.)
Well, I'm a firm believer that being a "good person" is sort of like a continuum.  Very, very, very few people, (like 0.1% of the population) are 100% good.  And very, very, very few people (like 0.1% of the population) are 100% bad.  The rest of us fall in the middle.

People, I think, are products of their circumstance.  And it is not in their nature, rather in their nurture, that creates truly bad behavior.

That being said, I think I'm a pretty good person.  I think I'm a genuinely good friend to the people I'm friends with.  I think I'm a good wife and sister.  I am considerate of the feelings of others.  I'm responsible.  I'm an excellent person, and enjoy helping/supporting others.  I've done some things in my life which have caused me to feel enormous shame and regret, but I've done all I could to admit those things and make them right.
  • rec me a revitalizing face mist?
  • The MAC Charged Water Revitalizing Energy is pretty good.
  • rec me a revitalizing face mist?
Please explain to me why I would want one. I don't know what it is.
  • in the winter, my skin (sensitive and dry) will sometimes look a little... dead and dry?  and a face mist just perks things back up!

Because all work and no play makes cschiano's day dull.
