Party in your dress all night?

Are you going to party in your ceremony gown all night or change for the reception? I am currently planning to wear my dress all night then change into my 'going away' dress just before we exit the reception.

We went to the bar after our reception. I was still in my dress. We ordered mozzarella sticks. I spilled marinara sauce all down my silk dress. We laughed...and took it to the dry cleaner the next day :-)
Staying in my dress was so fun!

I wore my dress all night plus out at a local bar. I absolutely loved my dress and the last thing I wanted to do was take it off. If I could have worn it down to breakfast the next morning at the hotel I would have. Hell, if I had a place to wear a white gown now I would put that sucker on in a heartbeat.

This is what I plan on doing. We are going out to party in the French Quarter after the reception, so I may not be wearing a dress as my "going away" outfit.

I wore it all night, and to the after party. It's a gorgeous dress and I felt like a princess in it! I wanted to wear it for as long as I could.

I wore mine all night & we even went to a Halloween Party afterwards (our wedding was the weekend after Halloween) and when we got there people were like those are the best costumes, they look so authenic, we were like, they should we've been married for less then 12 hours.

I am planning on leaving my dress on the whole time. My opinion is if you only get to wear it one day, you might as well wear it as long as possible! After the wedding, we are planning on going to In-N-Out in our wedding clothes for a midnight snack on the way to the hotel.

Although, once we get to the hotel, I doubt my FI will let me wear it for much longer!

My wedding hasn't happened yet, but I already don't want to take it off!! I'll definitely be wearing mine all night - i want to get the most out of it!

I couldn't agree with you more. My thoughts exactly.

Also I am planning on staying in my dress all night. Changing my dress was just something I never even thought about. I love it and don't like taking it off whenever I have to put it back on, unless of course it was by FI hehehe

I wore mine all night because I loved it so much! It was a comfortable dress and I was able to dance until the wee hours. I figured I was only going to wear it once, so I might as well wear it as long as possible.

I kept mine on. I was a little warm though and wanted to loosen up bit so H went with me during the reception to the refresher room and helped me get my petticoat slip off.

If i could wear mine all day from when i wake up i would! Im going to wear mine all day likely from 1pm until I hit the hay that night. We are even going to church service that night and I plan to wear it!

Too expensive to only wear it for a short time, plus I love it! Might change at the very end before we leave. We also might do a last dance of the night that is something fun like a swing, and I would need the shorter skirt for that, but again it would only be at the very end of the night if I did.

I'm wearing mine all day. FI and I are having a small ceremony, with only our parents and a photographer. We are going to get married fully dressed up, then run around down town and take pictures. No wedding party or anything, just a bride and groom taking some lovely pictures. Then afterwards, we're having a huge family get together at a local pizza place (renting out practically the whole thing) and we're still going to be dressed up.
