Green and gray wedding ???

My bridesmaids will be in dark gray dresses from Davids Bridal. They have a slight blue tint to them. My flowers will be green and white. We will have moss letters on the fireplace. Daisys will be in the vases (we can choose whatever color, but white will fit my color scheme better).

I can not decide whether or not to add navy blue. I'm not sure how I would tie it in. The only reason I am contemplating it, is bc I don't like the light gray chair sashes and napkins.

Should I stick with the light gray or throw in a whole new color - navy?

Thank you!

  • What color are the table cloths? Are you saying you would swap the light grey sashes and napkins for navy instead? What other color sashes and napkins are available, or can you choose any color?

I am still debating this color scheme, and a different one with navy in it.

I thought mixed metals, ESP copper, would look really neat with that gray-green. And a pale peach, particularly in the flowers, but it might work on tables too. Lot of cool pin boards out there with this color.

ETA: I may have misunderstood your question. Your title says your colors are green and gray, so I was guessing you meant that pale green that is out now and wanted to see if navy matched those two colors? I wouldn't, but you might pull some blue swatches and see if a blue with gray tones would work.
  • Yes. I was just going to swap the light gray napkins and chair sashes for navy. Can't decide! I don't think I want to add another color but I keep seeing their blue sashes and I love them. Ugh. Table clothes can be white or ivory.
  • What about white/ivory table clothes and green sashes/napkins?

I like this idea with white table cloths. I can't really picture navy with what you're talking about.

But I agree with PP, if the only reason you are thinking of adding navy is because you do not like the gray linens, why not get green ones?
