  I have a lot of embarrassing stories, lol. The WORST was when I pulled an all-nighter in high school working on a presentation about world belief systems. I swear I don't remember putting this in the presentation, but when my group got up to present the slide stated that Mohamed ALI was the founder of Islam. The class snickered. My teacher sighed. I wanted to die. The take-home lesson is a) proofread, and b) don't pull all-nighters. I haven't had a similar problem since.
  
  BF and I met on a retreat for the honors group we were in as college freshmen. We ended up in the same group for the skits we had to perform. Or sit sucked, but we became best friend very quickly.

  Poppy is the name of a character I used to write stories about when I was younger. I have a very specific vision of her and have a lot of details about how she looks, acts, and sounds. I did an impression of her in front of BF one day and he liked her a LOT. (Probably it had to do with the British accent, lol.) So the name stuck.
  
  Engaged - I'm not sure anymore. I think I really need time to live on my own after I graduate next summer, so in another couple of years at least. Married - around a year after that, depending on wedding planning and all that jazz.
  
  I regret anytime that my lack of self-confidence kept me from pursuing my goals. I just feel "less than" as a person right now because I was so reserved and shy and self-conscious growing up. I really wanted to get into music and theater but was always so scared. Now that I don't have that fear (or as much of it), I need to get back into it but I'm not really sure how...
