Festival Themed Wedding Want to Do Wristbands as Escort Cards

My fiance and I are all about music, he is in a band, I have been to more concerts than I can remember. So our theme is a music/wedding festival. I want to do VIP wristbands for guests when they get their table numbers but am having the hardest time finding ones that don't look cheap or chinsy. Anyone have any websites, vendors or ideas on how I can get these made. I want nice cloth wristbands like you would get at a music festival. Any help is much appreciated.

are you set on this plan? why not give them a ticket stub with their table info on it?

I was going to suggest that too! I don't think people will put the wristbands on. You also have to hand write the names and table numbers if you do the wristbands. GL!

I think you would be wasting your money on the wristbands. I know I would never put it on, neither would my H.

I've never been to a music festival that had fabric wristbands. Usually they are made of those sticky strips of paper. It's a cute idea in theory, but unless your wedding is very casual I wouldn't do it...I would not want to wear a wristband while dressed for a wedding. I think the ticket stubs are a much better idea.

Here's another vote for the ticket stubs. The wristbands feel too much like what you get at some functions to let the bartender know you are old enough to drink.

I would not wear a wrist band. My H might, but I doubt it. I would definitely take it and find my seat with it to be polite, but I would leave it on the table.

I also vote ticket stubs.. think about how you find your seat at a concert - you look at your ticket. I think it's a really cute idea that definitely fits your "theme" better than a wrist band. And cheaper probably...

Exactly my thoughts. A neon wrist band doesnt go with wedding attire.

I also agree that I would not wear a wrist band at a wedding. Likely, I am wearing a bracelet on one wrist already and that wrist band wouldn't "go" with the rest of the ensemble. I'd also likely leave the wrist band on the table.

I get the idea you're going for though, and it's a nice thought. I think ticket stubs would probably go over better.

If you DO go with wristbands, then I'd have them all laying flat on the table, and expect no one will put it on, and they'll just carry it to their seat as they would with any other escort card. Personally, I don't see a problem with this, I think it's still a cute idea. I also don't know what you mean by fabric wristbands, though. I've only seen the neon paper ones. My only hesitation about doing the wristbands is that people would see them laying flat on the table, and not "get" that they're supposed to be festival wristbands, and think it's just a flat long strip of paper or fabric.

I have nothing constructive to add...other than the fact that my venue (MLB stadium) required wristbands for security reasons.

DH and I are sporting our neon green wristbands in a bunch of our photos. It's ridiculous and hilarious at the same time.

We didn't have a choice...since you do, OP, don't do it.
