Over the nose veil

Thinking about  wearing a bellydance styled veil with a  sort  fantasy/hippie/western wedding dress(over the nose, under the eyes)I don't plan on wearing it the whole evening, just the ceremony.

Where could I find a good one in white maybe shiny gold trimmed?
I want to get a nice one not a costume version.
Also, it's not a muslim wedding, so it's not really a niquab but, kinda looks like it. Would that be offensive to any guests? Would it be a fashion mismatch?

That does sound a lot like a niqab. Are you planning to cover your hair too, or just part of your face? Those veils have strong religious and cultural significance to some; I can't say for sure whether your idea would be pushing it (having trouble picturing this look), but I would say that if you think it has the potential to offend, maybe picking another veil style would be good.
Do you have a photo showing more of the type of outfit you have in mind?

ETA: this is strictly personal opinion, obviously. I don't offend easily, but if someone were to wear one of my religious symbols (or something that closely resembled it) for "fun" or "fantasy," I could see people being upset.
  • Its your wedding wear what you like. People always talk, and some get offended for no reason.
