Patti's Pasticceria

Recently, I discovered a pastry/coffee shop in White Oak Boro (near McKeesport) called Patti's Pasticceria. The first time I went into the shop I had just planned to get a latte or capuchino, but decided to get a piece of pastry to go with my drink. Well, the pastry was delicious, more than I could have hoped. Because of family matters, I have had to make a number of trips to the McKeesport area and every time I have stopped into Patti's for coffee and a pastry or a cookie. I have never been disappointed.

I asked if Patti's made wedding cakes (i though I had seen a wedding cake on display). The clerk said that they do and that the store had planned to be represented at a number of upcoming bridal shows.

Because I am nebby (yeah, I am a yinzer), I am curious if anyone has tasted a wedding cake from Patti's Pasticceria. Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Patti's Pasticceria

  • Haven't had a wedding cake, but have had cookies from there. So delicious!
  • I have had their cakes before and they are absulutely amazing! They will be doing my wedding cake this upcoming November. I would stop in and they have cakes in the cases that can be tested. I called and set up an appointment to test the cakes and and talk to the decorator and  they were very pleasent.
  • I was at the wedding clickers show this past Sunday and stopped pasted their booth they're cakes were soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good and moist. I'm going to see about doing a tasting because I really want my cake from them.
  • I ordered my cake for my May 17th wedding at Patti's.  I grew up in White Oak and one of my friends who used her for her wedding RAVED about how I had to go there for my cake.  My friend had a "naked cake" for her wedding and was having trouble finding someone to work with her on it.  The cake looked and tasted great at her wedding as well.  Walked in to great service and a moist piece of cake waiting for us to try it.  I HIGHLY recommend the pink champagne cake (it's really made with pink champagne - so the cake is pink, moist, and light).  They are also traveling from White Oak to Leechburg to deliver my cake, which is a decent distance away and said it wouldn't be any problem at all.  Go check it out - you won't be disappointed!
