Boutonnierre Gamer/ Sports theme

Hey ladies long time no post. So im back , and trying plan this shin-dig wedding. I was thinking i should start incorporating more about Fi into the wedding. So he is a gamer plays xbox call of duty and loves the Cowboys he is from Texas so I was thinking of some sort of cowboy or Xbox boutonniere. Do you think that would be cute or too cheesy??

for me I dont know if I would do the boutonniere for the groom alone. like if you were to do it i think maybe all of the groomsmen would need to have something similar.. but I would maybe get a really cute xbox or cowboys cake topper or a gater belt but I am not sure how to tie in the xbox or cowboys on the groom

I think its super sweet of you to want to tie in something about him. Does he even care though?

I think the idea of a grooms cake is fun. That way he gets something personal ti him and you dont have to always look back on your wedding photos and think xbox. It would be in every picture.

cute but maybe one of those details that only gets noticed either up close or by the bride. if you're having one it sounds like a great idea for a groom's cake though.

I asked my FI if he wanted to give a gift to his groomsmen since I'm doing a BM bag. We decided on fitted caps of each of the guys favorite team, with "thanks for sharing our day" sewn on the inside. Im going to have the boxes delivered by hotel staff while they're getting dressed so the photographer can get pics. He doesn't know that he's getting one too from childhood favorite team.

My husband is a HUGE Cowboys fan and I got a Cowboys garter. He loved it once the wedding was over as we didn't have the garter/bouquet part during the reception.

I was going to say what others have said about the garter.

I am buying him a Raven's garter set that I saw on etsy. He is also a big gamer and I am having my baker do a groom's cake designed like an Xbox with a NFL game on front. We will eat the cake during the rehearsal dinner. We will get pics taken and show them on screen during the reception.

You could also give him cuff links with the cowboy's logo on it. I think I saw some on etsy also.

I LOVE that idea, but, my FI would cut me if I showed up with a Ravens boutonniere. However, we love Batman and Superman. Instead of boutonnieres, we are wearing superhero socks with mini capes attached to them. We are also wearing our super hero t-shirts underneath our dress shirts.

Now, we've a PlayStation household. Video games bond us. I buy, he plays, and I coach him along the way. Our wedding registry has the PS4 and we're told our friends that the PS4 is the only thing we really want. Maybe they can pool togther their money for a surprise, who knows?
