Are you writing your own escort cards?

I ordered custom escort cards and will be writing them out myself.  I was going to buy calligraphy pens and just realized that there is not enough space for me to use proper calligraphy, so now I am just going to handwrite them.  Would you recommend cursive or printed writing?  My wedding is two weeks from Sunday, so I don't have enough time to send them out and have them done!

    Well which of the two do you think looks nicer?  When you print or when you write in cursive?

    Whichever you think looks better and is more readable is the one you should go with.

    I think cursive looks nicer, but printed is probably more legible.  Especially if people will be waiting until after they are drinking for an hour at the cocktail hour before they start hunting for their seating assignment.  LOL

    You could buy plain address labels, do it on the computer and stick the address labels to the cards.

    I can't print directly on the cards because of the size, they are too small to feed directly into the printer.

    As long as they are done consistently and are legible, no one will notice/care if you used cursive or printed writing.  Personally, I think the clear address label idea is tacky.
