In need of a photographer/videographer

Hey All!
I am looking for a company that does both photographs as well as videos. We are looking to spend no more than $4,000-$5,000. Any help would be appreciated! Our wedding is next March and everything is booking up fast!

My photographer , Full Circle Photography is awesome and well within your budget. She doesn't do video but has a partner company that she highly recommends and works with regularly.

DO NOT use the pros.

Is there a reason you want a 2 in 1? I can't think of many good ones. More so what pp suggested someone that a photog is going to suggest.

@ NCV2- Have you heard bad things about the pros? Im just wondering because they were one company I was looking into...

^^ alot of past knotties have had bad experiences with the pros.

You should consider looking at separate vendors for this. My vidographer and photographer (I booked them separately) ran me below $5k. I"m using Stefani Chung Photography and picsElated Studios. I highly recommend them!

Yes, my photography & videography came in under $5K and I used different vendors. I am using SingleExposure Photography and Martin's Video.

Try Jenn Childress she has packages in that range. I used her and can't say enough about my photos.

I also recommend doing two separate vendors. My videographer, BE Films, is great. Depending upon the ratio of your budget apportioned to photography versus videography, they should be within your budget.

My fiancé and I are using George Street Photography. They also have videography. We came in just under $5,000 for the two and we did some upgrades to our packages. I found the company on here and so far I do not have a bad word to say about them!

I agree, I was originally looking for one company to do both, but after doing much research, I realized there was no reason to need one company to do both. Try finding a photographer you LOVE and asking if they know of a video company who maybe they have worked with in the past.

That is what I did. My photographer is Syllipsi Photography based out of NJ. and the videographer she suggested is Artistic Hands Productions. I highly recommend looking into them because Brian (the owner) is great! You can go on their website or facebook page and watch the hightlight videos from so many of their weddings. The price all together for both ends up being a little over $4000, but it really depends on what you are looking for. Our photography package included an engagement session, guestbook with engagement photos, two parent albums, and thank you cards. The only thing I am not crazy about is that the package does not include our wedding album, because with all the different specifications you can get, the photographer prefers if you order after the photos are back because the prices are all different. But you do get all of your copyrights too. The website has all package prices plus she will make a custom package for you if you just email her the speicific things you want and don't want.

If you like the videographer (Artistic Hands), they also know a couple photographers who they have worked with before and can recommend for you.

Hope you find someone! It is really important to make sure you LOVE their work!

Oh, and I also would not choose the Pros. They are a nation wide company, and it is definitely better to go with a company that knows your city and area. When we went to one of their showcases, ALL of the photos they had on display were from different cities, and all different photographers who were not even there at the showcase! I thought that was crazy....
