Shopping in India

Hi Everyone!

 

I am leaving to do all my wedding shopping at the end of the month. I will be shopping in Gujarat. It has been almost 10 years since I have been to India. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect shopping for my wedding outfits? Are the outfits pre-made and adjusted to size? Will I be trying them on?

I did my engagement shopping in Chicago at Saahil. Will this be a similar experience?

Also, does anyone have any advice on coordinating the grooms outfits?

    Trishna1, sorry I can't answer your questions.  
    Please share how the experience was when you get back, as I won't be able to go to India.
    But the family in Gujarat will be getting clothes for us (based on our measurements), so I'm curious as to what the process is and what the options are.
