Nah, they would be mad if we spent money on them. We are going to write a nice letter to my parents for everything they have done for FI and I over the years and continue to do still.

We got our parents a silver tray with an engraved letter from FI and I that thanks them for all they have done for us over the years. We are also ordering them wedding albums after the pictures are developed.

We're leaving a pretty lavish cheese, fruit, wine, juice package for them at their rental house and giving them this book from our venue because they love to cook.

We are going to give them wedding albums after. Both our parents would probably be upset if we spend money on gifts for them.

We are getting them a canvas print of a picture from the wedding. We'll tell them about it before the wedding and let them choose what photo from our wedding they would like to have, then have it made. We found a groupon deal, so hurray for a few pennies saved!

We are giving them letters, a framed print with a little poem and our wedding date that we ordered off of Etsy and framed, a bottle of "our" wine that we made and then I am slipping an embroidered handkerchief in the letters for my future MIL and for my father. We originally thought we wanted to do something really nice, but decided thoughtful was better.

My parents and my FILs have already told us not to get them anything at all. They are just that type of people. We wrote them very heartfelt notes.
