NWR: Halloween! :)

Figured I'd throw something fun out there :) What's everyone going to be for Halloween?? I've been so busy with the wedding planning and life in general that I feel like I'm throwing something together last-minute haha. I found a blue-and-white plaid sundress in my closet and I have red shoes, so I'm going to go as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz :)

    FI and I are going as a couple. I am going as a giant loofa sponge made of tulle, and he is a big bar of soap we fixated from a few recycled boxes :)

    Such fun - we LOVE Halloween!!  After our 2nd or 3rd year being together we started doing couples costumes and it's so much fun!  The first was Mario & Princess Peach (hence some of our wedding elements will have little touches of that lol), then we did a girl scout and a wolf (kinda like little red ridding hood where he tried to steal my cookies lol), and 2 years ago FI was the Stay Puff Marshmallow and I was a Ghostbuster.  Last year we didn't get to dress up as he had to work that night, and same thing this year  :(  We had originally planned on including our puppy into our theme costume this year, but I guess we'll just do that next year: our dog was going to be a hot dog (already bought his costume before we found out FI had to work) and we were going to bottles of ketchup & mustard.  Here's an adorable photo of our dog rocking his costume, and me enjoying it a lil to much lol:

    I'm glad I'm not the only one that dresses up their dog!!!  My little girl Emma is going to be Katy Perry this year.  I got her the costume last year but then we got hit with Sandy and she wound up just wearing her snuggie lol 

    FI and I have never dressed up together.  So far it's worked out that he was in NY and I was in NJ on Halloween.  I believe next year it falls on a Friday so we'll def have to do something.

    I love dog costumes! My sister and I dress up our family Jack Russell every chance we get. She's 17 now and I'm pretty sure she has just given up on fighting it haha. FI and I have only done a couples costume once -- Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas. I told him that next year, we have to do one because it has been too many years since the last time!

    @FutureMrsN3312 & @pumpkinsandturkeys I'm so convinced that our dog is secretly a lil male diva as he gets super excited whenever I pull out clothes for him (i.e. shirts and sweaters for cold weather, even the bowties I have for fancy special occasions lol!)!!  And Jack and Sally is a great couples costume idea!

     

    Hope everyone had a great Halloween!!!  Many "Booooos" (or should I say Woooofs!) from our lil skeleton Murphy, who was also my model for carving pumpkins this year!
