Reviews 10/23/13

Hi everyone! Not really posted before but I wanted to pay it forward as so many other reviews helped me in organising our big day! Flamingo Gazebo Chapel - A+ I always wanted an outdoor ceremony and this place was perfect! For anyone deciding between the west lawn chapel and the gazebo I would say that if you want any shred of privacy go for the gazebo, I was really surprised but how public the west lawn was! Both beautifully set up however. We dealt with Kristen Rochelle and we were really pleased with all contact and her help on the day as well. Every detail was taken care of, flowers were great and our pastor (Nathan) was perfect. Eiffel Tower Restaurant - A Wow. Food here was amazing!! We had a four course menu as we thought that a fancy restaurant would serve tiny portions but nope, each course was a good size and tasted great! All our guests raved about it! We hired the semi-private Salon Prive room as there was 27 of us, it was a perfect size and the view from there was amazing, you could see the fountains as well as a view down the srip, it was a great talking point for our guests. The staff were exceptional, no one ever had empty glasses etc but you never felt they were crowding. Only tiny negative was that we got served coffee & tea and consequently charged for it which wasn't agreed on our master cheque, as my husband paid the bill I didn't even find out until we'd left or I'd have disputed it. Imagine Studios Photography - A Our package came with photography included but I just wanted to say our photographer (can't remember her name for life of me) was great. I was worried about photos as coming from the UK we'd not met with anyone to discuss what we wanted but she knew exactly what to do and got some beautiful shots of everyone. A few non wedding related: Flamingo Hotel: This hotel was fairly basic but can't really fault it's cleanliness, service or great location. Went into a few of my bridesmaids/families rooms and all were clean and good standard. Bellagio Hotel: Gorgeous hotel. We stayed here after our wedding as a treat and it was fab. The room had a fountain view which was great as well. Caesars Bacchanal Buffet: Came here for breakfast day of wedding. Choice was crazy, there was SO much food it was unbelievable! Chicken and waffles and red velvet pancakes, yum! Definite must visit if you get a chance, was sad we didn't have time to visit for dinner. That's it really! We had an amazing day and I'm still in shock at how smoothly it all went! All our guests loved it even the vegas sceptics! Thanks again for all the help knotties x

Congratulations, sounds great! Can I ask what the weather was like, was it weather for shorts? My friend (from UK) is planning to go around 20th October 2014 for her honeymoon but I can't advise what the weather is like as I've only visited in July. Thanks!
  • Thanks ladies! The weather was great, around 27C every day, which was perfect for us. Meant we could walk around quite a bit during the day without melting, and definitely good for shorts. Maybe tell her to take a cardi for the evenings (and the air con) I would say.
  • Thanks for the great reviews on the Flamingo Chapel. We WERE going to be married at the Gazebo but changed to the indoor chapel. I agree that the West Lawn is very open - but it does photograph really well.
