It's my birthday on Friday

My boss has just given me the day off - which I'm super stoked about.

FSIL is coming home for the first time since Easter, which I am also super stoked about because she is AWESOME!

And I desperately want a new tattoo for my birthday, but I have a wedding to save for and a credit card to pay off, so I should probably focus on that.

Any other November babies around?

My birthday is next week Monday. But I keep forgetting because of the wedding planning, last year I forgot my birthday because I was helping plan my sisters wedding.

I almost forgot my birthday in 2011 because of my friend's wedding where I was a BM, but my best friend kidnapped me the night before and we had a midnight champagne and cupcake party, and then she took me out to breakfast.

Mine was definitely the 16 candles birthday. I think they arranged a pre-wedding dinner for my sister and her husband on my birthday.

I'm glad you reminded me, I think I'll spoil myself this year. You should too and get the tattoo. We only have birthdays once a year and besides tattoos are technically a life time investment.

I'm so sorry. That's horrible! You should definitely spoil yourself!

I'll see what kind of "haul" I make this year (god, I sound like a greedy bitch), and get a quote on the tattoo from my artist. If I can pay all my bills and into all the accounts I need to pay into and still have the money for it, then I'll definitely get it.

@urbaneca Happy birthday! Mine was yesterday... we went out for fried pickles (my favorite, and what we ate when we met) and hubby got me two seasons of Friends on DVD AND Wizard of Oz on Blu-ray (my favorite movie)!

Thanks ladies!

I had a wonderful day, and spent a wonderful weekend with FSIL.

Pretty much everyone gave me money (which is awesome because paid off credit cards is a pretty good birthday present), but FI's parents gave me an all-edges brownie pan which I'm super excited about.

And FI took me out for dinner the night before my birthday because he's awesome like that.
