Reschedule period anyone?

First of all, I know, I'm gonna talk to my doctor on Monday, so it's not like I'm taking all I see in the net as final words, but there is no wrong on asking for advice.

Ladies! my wedding is on Jan 18, 78 days aprox, I'm on my period right now, and I just checked my menstrual calendar, and the forecast for my period on Jan is on the 18th!!!! I'm taking pills, I've been taking pills for a loooong time now, and I've heard that you can reschedule your period. My fiance and I are in abstinence till the wedding nigh (started this week), so I dont worry about pregnancy if I have to stop taking pills for some time. 

I need advice, and would love to hear if any of you have done this before?

    You can skip the placebos in your pill pack and that should skip your period.

    I think you should talk to your doctor.  If you switched to the shot, I think some people don't get their period or hardly ever get it.

    If you'd rather get it a week early, just skip the placebos after your next pack.

     

    If you'd rather get it a week late, you can start your next pack a week later than normal HOWEVER WARNIG WARNING WARNING this may cause you to ovulate and be fertile, so if you go this route, use back up contraception for that entire month (and potentially the following one, if you don't want to get pregnant).  If you wouldn't mind getting pregnant immediately after the wedding, this is probably less of a concern for you (this is what i'm dealing with).

    Actually, she should be good one full week into the pack if she waits a week to start the new one with a dual hormone bc pill. No need to use back up for 2 months. Ova don't hang around that long.
