Color changing...now what?

So we have been planning on doing blush pink and soft mint green for our colors with creams and gold(sparkle) to go with....

The girls are wearing "rose petal pink" in this dress - http://www.morilee.com/Bridesmaids/bridesmaids/671

The guys were going to be in mint vest and tie

Ring bearer was going to be in blush pink.....

here is my problem.. The color for the guys will be discontinued from the company starting March 1st and our wedding is the first weekend of May....

So if I do all the girls in pink and the guys in all black with a white shirt and blush pink tie and just change the flower girl dress is that just too much pink?? FI actually loves the idea and wanted to do pink for the guys and himself to start with, though he has chosen to wear ivory with me... I just don't want pink overload but it is a very soft pink...

We have to have the decision on the 24th of this month and once it is ordered it is a done deal.....

  • Your FI gets to choose his own attire (and the groomsmen's).

Let him choose whatever he wants. You'll be fine.

Contrary to what the wedding TV shows lead you to believe, no one really notices or remembers what the wedding party wore :-)

  • You could find other ways to bring the mint in- like through flowers and other decorations. You could also try to find the mint guys stuff from another vendor.

If he's happy, that's all that matters.

The guys get a great discount from the bridal shop and they have everything else for the family there... plus its kinda the best place to go near me and it's still an hour away...

  • If he wants the pink for the groomsmen, then do that.  As a PP said, you can add the mint colour in things like flowers or accessories.  I don't think there would be a pink overload, here is an example of a wedding party in light pink:
