I decided that I would split up the contents of our 'welcome bags' so that some stuff is mailed out to guests before the wedding. In the packs I will have:
- DIY 'Vegas' Luggage Tags
- Las Vegas Visitor Guide booklet (which is awesome cos it has maps, things to do, restaurant recommendations, shows etc)
- Wedding event itinerary and maps (so that guests can plan things around the 'official' events)
- 'You said Yes' card (short letter letting guests know that we received their 'yes' RSVP and are thrilled that they are coming to the wedding. This will also have our local Las Vegas phone number for the trip).
I will package these up in black presentation folders wrapped in hot pink ribbon and I've even found hot pink envelopes so that they really stand out in the mail. (Our wedding colours are black and pink).
Im absolutely LOVING the Las Vegas Visitor Bureau at the moment. I sent an email to one of their marketing people asking for 50 visitor guide booklets for my wedding guests and I just received them today. They spent $60 on posting them all the way out to Australia for me. Im sure thats nothing in their budget but it sure did make this bride happy.
