So I just bought a beautiful Essense of Austrailia dress. I'm absolutely in love with this designer! Any other ladies out there have Essense of Austrailia dresses?

I hadn't heard of them at all until I started shopping, then I noticed most of the gowns I liked when I tried on were by EoA or in their family of designers. The dresses all are so well-made and beautifully designed.

I literally bought my EoA dress a month after I got engaged because I loved it so much!! D1369! The BEST part about my dress is that the shoulder lace straps is completely detachable so I get a different look for my reception without having to purchase a separate dress

I can't believe I didn't know about this designer until I started dress shopping. Every one of the essense of austrailia dresses I tried on I loved and I am sooooo happy with my choice.

@Maggie0829 Can I ask you about your dress? I maybe remember reading somewhere that you had your dress bustled and it came loose, so you just had the wrist strap to carry your train around with (like in your siggy pic). Did the dress come that way with the strap or is that something you had added, because I really don't want to bustle my dress.

@88beautymarked - I had a bustle and it never came loose. In my sig pic my dress hadn't been bustled yet because we were on our way to the field to take more pictures. My sister is holding my dress up by one of the loops that were already attached to the under part of my dress so that when it is put in the garment bag the train is looped up around the hanger.

I would say that if you do not want to bustle your dress I would talk to your seamstress about adding a nicer loop then what already usually comes attached to your dress. The seamstress will also be able to place the loop in an appropriate spot to allow you to hold up the majority of your train in a comfortable manner without too much of the under layers showing.

I'm seriously considering a Stella York dress, which is in the same family. So far, most of the dresses I'm finding that I like are EofA.

I'm a Stella York (sister of EofA)! I bought from the trunk show this fall, so no model picture yet and the dress isn't on the website, but this is me in the sample!
