the atrium ? Or other venues you can BYO

I used the knot a lot for my wedding 7 years ago, and now my sister is engaged so I am back! Anyone have any thoughts on The Atrium in prospect? My sis is looking for a venue that can host 100-125, and since the grooms family does not drink, she would prefer a venue you can bring your own alcohol, or pay on a consumption basis. Thanks in advance!

Re: the atrium ? Or other venues you can BYO

  • Hyeholde restaurant has a banquet space called the round room and they say they hold up to 100. I have heard it may be tight if there are 100. But they are consumption based only for alcohol.
  • I believe LeMont, 20th Century Club and Grand Concourse all do consumption based.

St. Pamphilus supplies bartenders, pop and mixers but you bring your own wine/beer/liquor.

  • The Bigelow Event Center, Pittsburgh Opera House, Lingrow Farm, Holy Cross Banquet Hall, PPG Wintergarden, the Edgewood Club, the Great Hall and the Union Project all places that I looked into that allow you to bring your own alcohol. Most of them let you choose any caterer as well. If you are interested in any of them I have info on all of them lol.
  • Succop Conservancy
  • We had our reception at Stonebridge Farm Nursery in Ambridge. The caterer allows BYO alcohol and supplies the mixers and garnishes. It's a completely outside venue though, so it's not for everyone.

  • I had my wedding at the Bigelow conference and event center. It's gorgeous . It right in Oakland. They are BYOB/A. Which was grea because we got top shelf for half the cost and then returned what we didn't use. Saved a ton. Plus the inside is so pretty
  • The Pittsburgh zoo is BYOB and they supply the fixings. Loved that venue. They did a wonderful job.
