DDB alternative?

I know this is probably already discussed here but my ipad is not cooperating today to search. I had wanted to book the bus for our wedding but it's not available. Are there any other companies? I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up! lol

  • Here is the link to a recent thread on this.

Basically - there is another DDB company called Big Bus Tours but they charge $418 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours and do NOT allow drinks on board (whats the point?).

Another option is to hire a party bus or a mega limo.

We have hired the Inferno from Elite Transportation to pick us up from the club on our bachelor/bachelorette party night. It is about $216 per hour (1 hour minimum). They say it seats 30 - but Ive seen reviews that say best to keep it about 25 passengers. Elite also have heaps of other mega limos too.

  • I changed the time of the DDB for our day. The night was booked, our wedding is at 4, so we are doing DDB right after the ceremony for 2 hours, then dinner. I looked into Elite Limo, but it was a bit risky for the 6 children, and we wanted to see Vegas. We will probably book Elite for the night after dinner. So, depending on what you want, changing the time slot may help you too.
  • Thanks for the info!  I had emailed them back seconds after they told me that the time slot I requested was booked to see if they had any other time slots that day but I haven't heard back since.  I may fill out the inquiry form again!
  • So he has time slots  before 7pm so now I am toying with the idea of 5-7 and have it drop us off for dinner.  I had wanted it to be dark so everyone could see the strip lit up.  I looked up that the sun goes down at 6:30 so that doesn't leave much time!  Has anyone been on the bus the end of September around this time slot?
  • I've got the same time slot- 5-7. So, I'm toying with the idea of having Elvis on the bus, since it may not be dark yet. Everyone can drink on the bus before dinner. Also, after dinner, I may rent a shuttle for a couple hours, so everyone can see Vegas at night.
  • We have our bus from 5 -7. I quite like the idea of guests cruising the strip as the sun comes down and lights come up. We have arranged a shuttle for the end of the night but thats just to transport guests back to the hotel.
