NER stands for "not etiquette related", and XP means "cross posted"......meaning that the particular question was posted on more than one board.

  I wish the KGs would update this because all the ones on that list, I guessed when I first came on without looking at the list or asking.

  
  

  The more difficult ones, at least for me, to figure out - PPD, SMH, AW, to name the ones I can think of off the top of my head - aren't on there.

  I've been here for months and never knew what AW was. I just sort of took it to be like "Aw, how sickeningly cute." - which I guess more or less is the same as attention whoreish.

  I've been having the same problem. Sooo many acronyms. Some of them you can guess, but others like AW you can't guess until you ask. Hope they can update the list
