I sent out our invitations on Saturday (today is Tuesday). My grandmother sent this to me yesterday:
"Have I been pronouncing Fiancé's last name wrong? I thought it ended in ly. I noticed on the wedding invitation it ended in a gy. Sorry about that."
Yup. I sent out all of our invitations with my fiancé's last name spelled wrong. I have already cried. I have already called him to tell him. His parent's also informed me. Now I am finding the humor in it. Only me. Fiancé didn't even care. He said he proofed them to and didn't notice (even though I don't think I sent it to him before I sent it to the printer). I found this out an hour after I told a friend of mine that the important part of a wedding is the 2 people getting married. The rest is just the circus that surrounds it. Who knew I was talking myself off the ledge I was about to be on!
To the other brides: Proof read!
