My wedding is on March 23, 2014! I'm going to send out my invites after Christmas. How long should I give guest to send back the RSVP? There will be a stamp on the return envelope.

You base the RSVP date on when your venue needs a final headcount.

Set it about 2 weeks before that date.

We made our RSVP date one week before the venue needed a final count. A week was plenty to track down the few stragglers. We were able to work on the seating plan after the final count, so we didn't necessarily need time for that.

It depends on when you need your final count, but the RSVP date should be 2-4 weeks ahead of the wedding.
