Out of Town Bridal Shower

My MOH lives in CT where I grew up with her and wants to host the shower in her home. I love this idea, however my family has since moved to Maine and my fiancee's family also lives in Maine. Is it ok to have the shower out of town for family and friends of my MOG or should I ask her to host the shower up in Maine?

    So would all of your shower guests have to travel to CT? If so, I would say that seems silly and if she wants to host your shower she should figure out how to do it in Maine. If parts of the guest list would have to travel either way, then letting her have it in CT would be probably be easier on her.

    You should have the shower wherever the majority of the guests live. If you have enough guests in CT to make up a guest list, then you may accept her offer. I live in CT and wouldn't travel to Maine for a shower, unless it was my daughter's.
