    My dress has a pretty low back. What I am doing is getting a low back long line bra (my dress really needs the boning and the bra for support and shape) and pairing that with what most places call a mid thigh shaper. The mid thigh shapers usually dont come up as high as other body suits. I wanted the shorts to prevent chafing and to help suck the tummy in a little. I had a first fitting and everything seems to work well together.

    @msuprincess04, thanks for posting that link! I too have a low-backed dress and the strapless-low back bra I bought for it was extremely uncomfortable under the dress once I had my slip on with it.  This looks like it will be much more comfortable.
