So, first, I overslept:

And then we went to DH's grandmother's house for dinner, where his brother and SIL stood us up and his aunt tried to thicken the gravy with baking soda:

Until DH told her I made them and then she "didn't want anymore":
But then I got to leave dinner early:
Except that I left early to come to work:
But I'm getting time-and-a-half AND a comp day and nothing's actually going on so I'm addressing Christmas cards and working on a wedding photo album for my parents for a Christmas gift:
I'm gonna go with 'not my circus, not my monkeys.'
