Re: my work keys are on my kitchen table. whoops. nft

  • and I just broke the community printer...Whee, I'm going to be popular today!
  • In your defense, printers are notoriously easy to break because they hate humanity.

  • True, this particular printer has a burning desire to make me develop a twitch.

I *was* planning on being able to print from the better printer this afternoon, but I'm now shackled to the desk because 2 of my student workers are out on 'oh crap' academic-1-day-leave...meaning they are in a panic about things like a paper/a test/whatever and, since they are students first and employees second, I gave them them the day off (not paid, but, hey, they got the day off) to actually do work in order to pass their classes.

(1 of them is a flake.  the 2nd is NEVER flakey and I know she needs the money so I'm assuming she's truly in a panic)
  • GB, I started what was basically a well-mannered brawl b/c I broke all 3 of the printers in the office in one day, on one project.  I was seriously stressed about it myself and someone made a snarky comment to me about it and off to the races we went!
  • I could TOTALLY see that happening here Varuna.
Luckily, there ARE other printer choices--I can print in my office (if I could get away from the desk) or I can printin the downstairs office (my 3rd office) or I can print to one of the labs...but they're not as easy.

I have NO IDEA what I've done; I'm just trying to get 'nice' copies of some pic heavy PDFs, but now it won't print my stuff AND it won't print an instructor's stuff too--we're both getting an insufficient memory error we've never seen before--and it has to be obscure if I've never seen it, right? :-)
