out of state salon giving my maids a hard time

so i need my out of state maids to get measured i found a place so close to them 9 minutes away one of my maids calls them and they said we cant measure you and you need to order from us. there is no such thing as getting measured and sending the info to the brides salon where she is you would have to order it from us.

does that sound fishy. i know you can get a measurment and take it anywhere my friends cousin had to do that because she lived out of state.

ugh this is turning into a nightmare dresses need to be ordered by tomorrow

    Well, it's not exactly uber customer servicey. But then again, your BMs aren't customers either. They're asking for freebies, and nobody works for free.

    Try an independent tailor or someone that does alterations, like at the cleaners or something.

    Hi @hyechica ! Dharma (above) is right - they are asking for a freebie and bridal shops are notorious for poor customer service unless you are buying a wedding dress right that instant.  Have them find local tailors (they'll most likely need one to alter their dresses later on), and they can get measured there.

    On another subject, I'm quite interested in knowing more about you.  Specifically, why don't you use proper punctuation?  Commas, periods, and question marks are important for clear communication.  Also, capitalization helps.  I am always fascinated by people who communicate this way and wonder how they get through life like this.  Can you offer any explanation?

    @mrs conn my handle is spelled correctly  Hye chica means armenian in armenian we say hye a lot meaning i am armenian 

    I type way to fast plus i just got some nails recently and they were a not cut short enough. I know I should be spell checking and making sure everything is good before i hit post reply.


    i was not asking them to get measured for free but my cousin asked the salon if they would do if for a charge and they said no we cant. my maids were going to get alterations done there but not anymore

    Do your maids have someone to measure them (boyfriend/husband, sister, friend, mom, etc)? 

    If so, they can easily find online tutorials that will show how it's done.  I mean, if it's crunch time, that may have to do in a pinch.

    Wzz, surely you remember that they order all the dress at the same time so they can be cut from the same fabric lot so you don't have different colors, GASP!!!??

    Which is a bunch of malarkey anyway.  

    But there might also be a discount where the brides dress comes from.

    Yes, I think my BM's got a 10% discount or something because we all ordered from the same shop.

    they are getting a discount from my salon thats why they need to be ordered from the same place.

    so the choices are - let them get measured at your salon for discount. (impossible because they are not local)

    find someone who will measure them for free and send the measurements to your salon (longshot)

    have them order dresses locally without a discount.

     

    i mean, what can you do except what is available for you to choose to do?
