Wedding ring as engagement ring?? HELP!!

I found the perfect ring. I tried it on and fell in love, but it is a 3 piece ring that is already put together as one. So there is no way for me to wear just the engagement ring. Is it ok to wear the entire wedding ring before the wedding? Or do I have to wait until we actually get married to wear the ring?

    Just wear ti, if that's what you want. Your wedding jewelry is very personal, so nothing is 'wrong.'

    I'm not even going toget another ring to wear as a wedding ring. My engagement ring will stand on it's own two feet. Plus, I don't see how a band could wrap around it and I don't want to ruin the effect of it.

    Historically, it wouldn't be all that unusual for your engagement ring to also be your wedding ring. Having two (or even one!) is not a requirement. I say go for it.

    I would keep it as your wedding ring. I picked out my ring with the intent to add a band later. 

    For you, I'd recommend maybe take the ring off the day before and get it cleaned at the jewelers. That way, when your FI puts it on at the wedding, it is perfectly clean and gorgeous.

    aRachel21 - we designed it based of a vintage ring and used diamonds from a gift from the FI's mom that she got from his grandpas longtime girlfriend.
