Engagement Party Venues?

I am looking for a place to have an engagement party, and I am clueless! I dont want something too over the top, but I dont want it to be dingy either :) It is going to be about 100-150 people.... It'll be in the broward-palm beach area ..... Any help

    wow, that's a big engagement party.  I was going to suggest boca di peppo but I think it will be too small. try tropical acres in dania, off I believe griffin road near 95. a friend of mine had her baby shower there and they have nice food. GL
