So as
@lmhollister mentioned earlier last week I believe, H and I had some complications at the airport before leaving for our honeymoon. So, we booked our honeymoon originally for St. Lucia but instead of going there we went to The Bahamas and stayed at their Sandals resort. Apparently, St. Lucia has a law that your passport has to be 6 months valid from the day you leave for the trip and H's passport expired two weeks from the 6 month date next May. I cried in the middle of the airport. Fortunately, after being on hold for about 2 hours with Sandals, we were able to transfer our stay into another resort and Delta was very accommodating by waiving our change fees and finding us a flight that same day. I will always always always check to see if any country we travel to from now on has this law. We are very grateful to have had a honeymoon. Here are some pictures:
It was pretty cloudy for most of the week but that didn't stop us from going to the beach or pool. We spent most of our time there in the hot tub, at the bar, at the beach, etc... We got a spa treatment one day that it was rainy and we also had breakfast in bed. My favorite night by far was having our candle light dinner for two and afterwards going to the piano bar and singing with a bunch of strangers while sitting around the piano drinking. Funniest thing ever. We had a blast though with everything we did. I also loved the wild kittens running around the resort. One ate a lizard in front of us and we named him Lizard Breath. We saw him the most out of all of them.
