I was looking for a song for my soon to be stepdaughter and granddaughter to walk down the aisle together to her father. I was thinking maybe: In my daughters eyes.

Any suggestions?

    I prefer general, lyric-less songs for the entire procession, for example Canon in D.  Perhaps there could be a dance in the reception with the stepchildren and grandchildren?

    Our entire pre-wedding playlist of songs that will play while people are coming in to sit, as well as our processional songs, are all Vitamin String Quartet or other string quartets. Can't wait to see my FFIL's face when he realizes that one of the songs is a string version of one of his favorite Led Zeppelin songs.

    OP I'd suggest seeing if you can find versions of their favorite or a meaning full song without words.  I played flute for a friend's wedding but she had a pianist who I played with and did the pre-ceramony music.  Someday I'll tell her all the funny stuff that happened with her music that she didn't notice.
