I am trying to include a song for my son and I to dance to at the wedding reception. He and my father are both walking me down the aisle at the church as my son is essentially "giving me away" to my FI. My son will be almost 13 (his birthday is April 1 and I'm getting married March 15th) and I really want to have a dance with him. Someone said to join in during the Mother/Son dance. I don't know if I would want to join them with my son, or just have a separate dance all together. I'm thinking that I'll have the dance with my son, after dinner and some dancing has happened with our guests. Kind of like a little present to him.
I don't know what song to dance to as I feel that "A Song For Mama" - Boyz II Men, is geared towards grown men that are getting married.
Any suggestions? He is my baby and I had him at a young age. It was just the 2 of us for quite some time so this is a big milestone in both of our lives.
