Wanted to share my crafting project with y'all :)

So this isn't wedding related, but I am making Christmas ornaments as gifts this year for the BF and his family and I just wanted to share pictures of them because I am really pleased with how the first two have turned out! Also, I was running around trying to find faux fur for crafting and I can't find it anywhere! I really want to make Maximus a paw print stocking this year because it is his first Christmas with us and, I believe, the first time he has ever enjoyed the holidays as a true family pet.

  • Those are very cute!

  • Those are so pretty! I'm jealous of crafty people...anything I make comes out looking totally derp.

What did you use to put the designs on them?

  • Those are lovely! Where have you gone so far to look for faux fur?

the snowflakes and stuff are actually just scrapbooking stickers! :) Aaron's is covered in acrylic glitter paint and Tammy's has light blue, white, and glitter acrylic paint around the edges.

I went to Joann's, Michaels, and Walmart yesterday with no luck. A co-worker told me today about a fabric store in a different part of town and so I called them up and they had a suitable color!! I was really hoping to get a two-tone gray/white because my husky's coat has a few different colors in it but all they had was gray, so that will have to do. I'm going to try and make some stockings for a local husky rescue as well because I had to buy the fabric by the yard and that is way more then I need.

I thought about doing something similar for friends this year, but I wasn't sure if I would give them the gifts before Christmas then- so they could put them on their tree- or if I'd give them on Christmas and they could put them on next year. What are you doing?

I'm giving them to them on Christmas day :) I got some of the boxes at the craft store that look like chinese take out boxes, but they are glittery, and then I put tissue paper in them like a little nest for the ornament so it doesn't get broken
