I'm just so ready for it to be Friday! I'm just sitting here watching Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta on Netflix and drinking moscato out of the bottle because I don't want to dirty another dish. Such a lazybutt. Tomorrow I'm going out with some girlfriends to get manicures and do some Christmas shopping. Friday night I'm headed to FI. Gotta help him and his mom out since his dad just had shoulder surgery today and is currently recovering. Saturday though is super fancy day as it's FI's Freemason Officer Installation and I have no idea which dress I'm going to wear. Need a pick me up.

I'm procrastinating on packing. I'm driving down to see BF tomorrow and then I fly home to visit my family on Tuesday. I need to pack for the 3 weeks I'll be gone but currently I'm watching old episodes of The Office on Netflix. But I figure I deserve a day of total laziness since I had a killer final last night!

Yes but I love it so much! They just added the last season of Futurama and I'm sure BF and I will waste so much time this weekend watching it! I wish they would add some newer seasons of SYTTD though.

I've gone through all 7 seasons of the original SYTTD that's on Netflix. I'm toward the end of Season 1 of Atlanta since I ran out of New York episodes. There's also Bridesmaids and I think "maybe" Big Bliss on there too.

It's craziness! I can't imagine acting like that when my BFF gets married! Speaking of which one of my really good friend's boyfriend took her to look at engagement rings last night! I must admit we both indulged in a night of BSCness lol.

Also what is a Freemason Officer Installation? Do you get to wear a fancy dress?

The bridesmaids version of the show is just a train wreck! I've already run out of SYTTD on Netflix. We're planning on watching the latest season of Futurama this weekend; I can't wait! I am not a big fan of the newer seasons (pretty much anything after the movies), but I've heard that season 10 is actually quite good. I love Futurama.

I am FINALLY less sick today (sinuses are clearing out, cough is going away), but this morning, I think I had an ovarian cyst rupture. It was so awful I couldn't go to work. I feel so sheepish about it, and I can't really explain to my (male) principal investigator why I wasn't in today ("Sorry, but I had such bad uterine cramps!" Yeeeeah).

I am eating Chinese food and watching a video game let's play on YouTube. I lead an exciting life.

@bethsmiles, well FI is a Freemason as in the male adult fraternity. It gives him some guy time, etc and I like lodge stuff. They include the ladies of the lodge as much as possible. The installation means he's moving up to an officer position at the lodge and they have a little ceremony thing which family can attend and dinner afterward. FI is supposed to be in a tux, but he hasn't bought one yet so he'll be in a suit. I'm supposed to be in a fairly nice dress, but not too fancy because FI's best friend's grandfather is a dirty old man so if I look TOO good, that could get me some unwanted attention. haha

OMG! Rooster Teeth is amazing! They do a lot of different things (including the web series Red vs. Blue). They are pretty much hilarious and I have a ridiculous obsession with them! BF loves their Let's Plays, they do them for a ton of different games and also do lots of other stuff with video games that are awesome.

@Kait - oh that is unfortunate about the old man! I used to live across the street from a creepy old man and it was so awkward when he insisted on talking to me! Sounds like it should be a fun event though

@bethsmiles, I've spent some time around him already and I had to kinda get used to old man winks!! I was a bit put off, but he is actually very sweet and he's on oxygen 24/7 now because of lung scarring so I can't dislike him for it. And his wife is super sweet too. FI and I visited them while we were in Vermont on vacation and they taught me how to shoot.

I know I'm late on this, but oh my god Rooster Teeth. If you like Let's Plays or just video games in general, their stuff is the bomb. They have a joint company called Achievement Hunter who also does videos, and the let's plays are freaking hilarious. They put out a ton of videos, they have multiple podcasts they do during the week, and several web series, such as Red vs. Blue and RWBY, and a bunch of other stuff too.

Seriously, one of BF and my's favorite things to do on a Friday night is curl up together and watch the Minecraft Let's Play they do every week. They are hilarious and great to watch. You get to know all the people that work there and it's good fun. BF and I are currently catching up (well, I'm catching up, BF has already watched all of them) on their other Let's Plays, like the Worms ones. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who has any interest in video games.

OK, I feel like I just nerded out a little too much. But seriously, @phira, check them out.

@bethsmiles- You have no idea how happy it makes me to know someone else on here loves Rooster Teeth's stuff.

Also @Kait, how does the Freemasons work? I always thought it sounded interesting but I don't know much about it. I always kind of considered it a secretive thing, like a secret society, even though I was probably way off base with that.

@FoxandBunny - AHH!!!! I love their Worms videos! BF and I have spent many a night cuddled on the couch watching their stuff! I always have to give myself little mental reminders to not completely freak out when someone else has heard of RoosterTeeth! But this is usually my reaction:

But seriously, I love you now. BF and I love to cuddle and watch Let's Play and podcasts until we fall asleep. We recently watched all of their minigolf let's plays. So, are you Team Lad or Team Gents? Who is your favorite in the office? Ah! So many questions that I want to nerd out on!!

Oh I love them all! I usually root for Team Lads and Gavin is my absolute favorite! Michael is a close second though, I love his rage quit videos and obessively listen for every detail about his and Lindsay's upcoming wedding! (I feel like I sound like a stalker lol) Have you watched their new(ish) Go series? They are hilarious! And somewhere Michael and Gavin did a State of Decay full play where Gavin is just absolutely wasted and it's probably one of my all time favorite videos!

Who are your favorites? Are you guys sponsors because BF and I always say we should be but we keep forgetting! Have you been to RTX? BF and I are dying to go!

My favorite is Michael. Gavin and Geoff are great. Gavin says such off the wall stuff that it's hard not to laugh. I also like Jack. You have no idea how much I obsessed over the twitter pictures of his wedding. It was kind of sad. BF got annoyed at me because I don't have a twitter, so I took over his to look at pictures. I was also super obsessed with seeing a picture of both Lindsey and Katie's rings. And how many times I've asked BF to find me the video of the podcast where Lindsey talks about the proposal and stuff. I am also kind of obsessed.

I have watched Go! It was hilarious that they filmed the first 6 on Halloween so Gavin was in a penis costume for what seemed like weeks. I was kind of sad when they got to the first one without it. I always like to see what games I come up with in regards to what the guys come up with. BF and I always get in debates about what the best game to go with would be.

BF is a sponsor but I'm not. The only reason I see to becoming a sponsor is if you watch the podcast and the patch religiously, which BF does. Also if you watch the web series they have. Have you watched RWBY? It's so awesome.

BF and I have not gone to RTX. We really want to and it would be amazing, but I doubt it will happen for the next one. Maybe the one after that? It depends on our money situation an such.

@FoxandBunny, Freemasons are mostly secretive, however a lot isn't. They have a typical structure with jobs/officers, etc that would come along with a fraternity. I obviously don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but what I do know of them is that they like to eat and host breakfasts/dinners and do a lot in the community including hosting Chips which is the child identification thing with the fingerprinting, pictures, etc. I've helped with Chips a couple of times now.

@Kait: I think it's so interesting how your FI and his group are so involved in the community. I wasn't aware (from just not paying attention) that the Freemasons did so much. PS- I love your signature pic. The way your FI is looking at you is adorable!

In my opinion, the best thing on Netflix right now is Scandal, season 2 (lalalalala, ignoring any spoilers!). That's a show you really need to pay attention to, so it's good AND bad since it forces you to relax but also to be absolutely unproductive. If you haven't watched it yet, I recommend!

BF and I haven't gotten into RWBY, it's really the one thing of their that doesn't appeal to us. I'm sure eventually we'll give it a try though.

@Kait - That's so cool. I had no clue what they did.

@bethsmiles - Get into RWBY. It's awesome. It really is. And it's short right now as the first season just ended and is only 12ish 12 minute episodes. It's gearing up to be epic. Of course, BF and I are anime and manga people too, so that might be why we love it so much.
