I admit that while watching the memorial service I found it strange that the speaker would still be speaking and he had already stopped signing. Plusalso, He was making some crazy hand signs.

Isn't that a mess?

I haven't been following this story closely, but wouldn't you think someone would have looked at the guy's credentials before putting him on the world stage?

I thought his signing look off, having worked with asl interpreters at work, but initially figured it was a difference between asl and south Africa's sign language. Glad I wasn't crazy that my baby signing looked more official then his.
