Delete A Discussion

How do I delete a discussion/post I started?

Thanks!

Re: Delete A Discussion

  • Hi @jmb3, posts are only deleted when an entire account is removed. You do have the option to edit your posts by click the gear symbol in the top right corner.
  • Why can't you delete discussions? I've posted some topics thinking I'd get a more supportive response but brides can be snarky! Sometimes you just want to delete it and pretend it never happened.
  • Because you're an adult.

  • I read your most recent posts. They didn't sugar coat, but they did offer solid advice. Can I ask what responses you were hoping for?

Telling you to save up for your wedding so you can call the shots is not snarky.

See, this is what I mean! But your handle is "ShesSoCold" so maybe that's your thing.

I'm not referring to that, but in that scenario, the response was text book and not relevant to the situation I'm actually in. Leading me back to, I'd rather just delete it than try to explain myself.

  • Your posts and everyone's responses, whether you consider them to be supportive or not, could help someone else. There are a LOT of lurkers here and people use the search function.

I can only imagine the number of PPD and BM hating posts if people could delete shit whenever responses weren't glittery enough.

  • If you don't like responses you get and want to delete a discussion and pretend it never happened, either don't log back in and find a site you like better, or make a new screen name, lurk a little, and start over w/o embarrassing yourself.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
