Do I need to include reception info on/with invitation?

I can't seem to find the answer this (probably stupid) question - but for those of you that are having the reception at a different location (and are providing transportation to and from), did you include any information about where the reception will be? I'm trying to keep the invitations as simple as possible and just say immediately following ceremony. If I do include the actual location, I'm assuming I should indicate that transportation will be provided? Thanks in advance!

  • We are doing the same thing (ceremony and reception in different venues and providing transport). On our invitations we simply indicated 'reception to follow' - but we put information about the reception venue and transportation on our wedding website.

  • I was going to suggest exactly the same thing.  Keep it simple on the invite and details on the website.
    We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!
