I've heard some nice things about Santos and then I've heard some not so nice things about them. I'm going to hopefully be booking with our limo company soon (fingers crossed). I just have to reach out to FSMIL.

Santos left a bad first impression.

What was the bad first impression? I haven't called them for pricing yet, but plan to today as I'm home (snow day!!!).

Where are you in Jersey @rakkaya87? If you're central, I recommend TYDYN limo in Bordentown/Burlington. They're on 206 and have locations in south jersey as well. I am thinking we'll be using them as they are local and are decently priced.

They were great via email. Pricing was also good. I scheduled an appt to see the vehicles. The girl gave me the impression she was annoyed bc I had additional questions and wanted to see the cars. They knew I was coming and all 3 vehicles I was shown were dirty. I was going there to spend a decent amount of money. The least they could have done was act like I wasn't bothering them. Left such a bad impression. If you can't be bothered to deal with me I can't be bothered to write you a check. I called action limo while on my way to my dj appt. John said oh if you're in the area stop by. I stopped by he was so helpful and polite. Took time to show us what we wanted to see. His vehicles were spotless and he didn't pressure us to book. His pricing was actually a little less than santos.

What was your pricing for Action limo? We don't want to spend a ton of money as FSMIL and FFIL have offered to pay for the limo. We were given a quote of 900 from TYDYN that was for 5 hours worth of time....

I really want to go with United Limo bc I received just a crazily impressive quote (20 passenger/4 hours $725) but I can't really find many reviews

Santos won't match (18 passenger/4 hours $870) and I am trying to work with them to at least give me the extra 30 minutes (I need 4.5 hrs)!

We're paying 2k for a 32 passenger party bus and 10 passenger Chrysler limo. We have both vehicles from 1:30-5:30.

We used Santos and I can not say enough good things. Our wedding day, it poured, and our driver was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she early picking us up, but she got each one of us out of the limo (very large bridal party) without getting a drop on us! I can not recommend Santos enough!

Boo. That sucks @Rakkaya87. At least you tried.

United Limo? Is their 20 passenger a bus or a limo coach? I've contacted so many limo places, one place wanted 3k for 5 hours to go 20 miles. Uh, no thanks.

@soontobemrsbuccheri it is a 20 passenger Escalade or Hummer limo ... im just so nervous! Yeah, some places are just absolutely ridiculous in cost.

Hey guys - I see a lot of you are getting limo service for 4 hours; can I ask what your general time-line is? We're going to have a ceremony and will need the limo to take myself, my bridesmaids, and my parents to the church; then my FI and our bridal party to the reception afterwards. I figure for a 3pm ceremony, 2:30 pick up time, leaving church by 4/4:15 and arriving at the reception by 4:30/4:45 at the latest. Should I be budgeting more time when I call companies for quotes?

We are using Toptown Limoride in Clifton, NJ. we are paying 792.233 after tax and stuff. Gratuity is included and its a 14 passenger tuxedo excursion for 5 hours.

@mellyD2014 that sounds like an average 4 hour rate, I don't think you will need more than that if ur first pick up is 2:30 and last drop off is before 5. Sounds like plenty of time in my opinion

I am not having a ceremony, so my pickup/timeline is kinda skewed from "standard".

@dancer2873 unfortunately for limos 14 is the largest they have (ive contacted them already

) and my bridal party + us two are 14 total.... we really need a 16 passenger with my gown/bridemaid dresses to be decently comfortable.

I'm waiting on my quote from them. I requested it early yesterday morning (when I saw who you might be using). I hope they respond soon because I would REALLY like to have our limo booked before the end of the year!!!
