Peoria, IL Bridal Shower Venue

I am the MOH for my best friend.  All of the BM, including myself, are not from or familiar with the area the bride would like to have her bridal shower.  Please share your suggestions for a bridal shower venue in Peoria, IL.  It needs to accommodate about 40 people and preferably allow alcohol.  It would be a bonus if we could bring in our own food!

    This is an international board, so you might have better luck posting on your local board. I'm not familiar with your area, but have a couple of general suggestions:

    - community centers
    - parks and rec (many have indoor spaces that fall under this department)
    - meeting rooms in the library or a hotel
    - a restaurant with a private room
    -VFW hall
