NuvaRing is deadly? I don't use it myself and am on the pill, but know a few of you ladies might.

So is the pill, driving a car, and getting pregnant.

This isn't big news in my opinion although some women don't understand the increased risks, I suppose.

I hate when the news blows something up that isn't news.

Apparently packing makes me annoyed at people haha.

In full disclosure, I threw up my bc when I was sick this summer and stopped taking it through my stomach issues mainly to not induce more chaos into my body. I may or may not change my mind on this in the future, but bc isn't really meant to be taken long term.

No. I was on it for 6+ years and I'm perfectly fine. But, like any birth control, theirs a risk of blood clots, etc.

I've never used the pill, but did use NuvaRing for PCOS symptoms that I experienced in 2008. I remember the package information said the risk of blood clots was higher because of the type of progestin used (if I remember correctly). I only used if for 3 weeks, though, because I started getting waaaaaaay too emotional on it. There was a TP commercial a while back (think it was Cottonelle) with a cute Labrador puppy, and I actually started CRYING because I thought it was so cute. Yeah, the ring came out that day. Lol!
