60s/70s decor ideas

Our reception has a mellow 1960s/1970s music focus.  I need decor ideas that support the focus without being over the top/kitschy (sp?).  I'm trying to avoid peace signs and flower power but I'm not sure what other decor could be authentic to that time period and somewhat subtle...

    I was married in 1976.  Few people had dancing at their weddings.  95% of weddings were church weddings, usually in the afternoon, with cake and punch receptions.
    I think you are over thinking all of this.  Enjoy your nostalgic (at least for me) music, and don't worry about a time theme.
