  oh my gosh I am glad you said something about this! I totally hadn't even thought about putting extra postage for the RSVPs in the invites for international guests....good idea to let them respond via email! I don't have any wording suggestions but thank you for posting this, haha!

  We're not doing email responses for international guests, but just for a tip for postage on their RSVPs, besides extra postage we ordered Canadian stamps to put on their RSVP envelopes. So if you are inviting international guests, just make sure you give them the correct postage. U.S. stamps may not be accepted for them sending the cards back.

  yes, ditto what Amanda said...we had to buy like 6 different country type of stamps to send our save the dates out. I had this on my to-do list for the actual invititations, but for some reason, hadn't thought about it for their RSVP cards. Yay for more little things I have to do, haha!

   I don't know either. Maybe "Please either mail response card or e-mail response to [insert e-mail address] by [insert deadline] "
  
  My mom had to go to India where some of my relatives are for a funeral, and brought the invitations with her. My family members are just going to tell my mom if they are coming over the phone. It's all pretty informal.

  Wow. Thanks for posting this. I totally forgot about some of our international guests. We only have a few (some of fiance's friends work in finance in Asia) but I would have totally forgot about this. The STD was such a huge pain that I ALMOST did send one (but I did because I wanted them to know about the date).

  Do not put US postage on the RSVP envelopes. They won't be able to send it back. Either purchase the international postage or leave it off altogether. We sent ours (just one going to Paris) without postage but also told the guest that could e-mail if he wants. Since its just one we just told him an e-mail. But for a lot I think an insert thats says something like "for your convience you may reply by e-mail to __________" would be fine.

  
  180 invited 145 are ready to party 35 are missing out 0! can't find the mailbox rsvp's due back June 20th!

  Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I will probably do a combo of what arun, schatzi and dramaqueen posted. I knew you couldn't put US postage on international response cards, so I was just going to give them the option of emailing instead of using their own stamp.
