*This situations is in the process of being resolved, but I was curious to see if anyone else encountered this*
So a few weeks ago, my BMs choose a dress from DB's and just for fun, I went with my FSIL to order hers on a Wednesday. They sales consultants were super helpful and accommodating, and I loved seeing the dress. So my FSIL ordered and paid for her dress, and signed their contract which says that they don't offer refunds but will do exchanges for size, etc. That Friday, 2 days later, my MOH called me from the DB's in her city and said that the dress they all chose was no longer available because they are changing over their catalog due to a shift in leadership. Apparently this 2nd store called the warehouse and other stores and confirmed the dress was in fact discontinued and no longer available for purchase. I was super confused and called the store where my FSIL purchased it. I spoke to the general manager and explained what was going on and her first response was, "Well it's not on our list of discontinued dresses". And then I said for the second time that my other BMs were unable to order it so something was not correct on their end. Long story short, she finally agreed to refund the money in full (still waiting for my FSIL to go in), but not before she tried to up-sell us on a dress that was "similar" but twice the price. Anyway, this has really soured me on DB's, and I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen recently because of their change.
