There was a whole "we don't need you mods" PM that went out in the late spring. Then there was a fustercluck of flagging and complaining that led to shine regs being banned for no reason which was followed by the idea of "secret mods". The last time I checked that never got off the ground and now banning only happens during regular office hours EST.

My year was... a roller coaster. Started off good with an engagement but towards the end of spring, my employers decided not to make me permanent due to the cost of the employment agency I was working for plus CEO politics. Luckily I was only out of work for a couple months before getting a better job but then my fiancé blew out his knee so I spent most of the summer helping him out, and he had to focus on his recovery including physical therapy. So he was out of work for awhile, now things have really gotten better recently. My fiancé recovered quicker than most people who had the knee surgery he had, and now he has a great new job where he feels like he can excel at. My company decided to bring me on permanently with a pay raise and a promotion! Yay! So I'd say this year is ending on a very happy note!

This year was mostly not good. I got to take a trip with my BF to introduce him to my family, but beyond that it really sucked.
