  Six months ago I quit drinking liquor, today I quit drinking any alcohol whatsoever. With only a few exceptions: a glass of wine once in a while while out with the girls, and champagne at our wedding. 

  
  

  It was something I wanted to do for a while now, along with eating better. In 2012, I'm going to make more homemade items and stop buying processed foods. It's just as easy to make a batch of peanut butter as it is to go to the store and buy one with preservatives in it.

  I also want to get down to my goal weight. I am not planning on trying dresses on until about july so I have plenty of time, but I am hitting the gym starting tomorrow! I also need to make better choices when eating. I am trying to cook at home more. It will help me and FI stay on track for the wedding and save money. I also am trying to stay organized.

  @ Nay 1984: Use the wedding ticker page to create the code for the ticker, copy it,  then click "update signature" on the toolbar, then paste the code under 'edit my message board signature'
  
  @ All-Resolutions, I have tons but biggest one is to get back onto my healthy diet and exercise regime that I stopped doing over the holidays so I can confidently shop for dresses in June...with my mother. LOL.

  My resolutions are to lose weight (im doing a biggest loser type of contest with some family), stay away from negative people and pay off the majority of my wedding!!!!! I can't wait! Next June I will be married!!!!! Crazy to think!

  I always make resolutions like "start working out more" or "stay ahead of the game on homework" but it just doesn't happen. So this year my resolutions are to teach myself to sew and to start volunteering with children somewhere!
