Alright girls. I realize it has been almost a month but I am finally getting to my good/bad/ugly about our wedding at Sandals Montego Bay.
The Good: Perfect location, the staff was amazing, beautifully scenery. My day went so smoothly. We did not use the resorts spa or photographer because we did not have the money (although my mom did offer to pay for my hair to get done there). We used our friend who does some photography and the pictures turned out great!. We were the first wedding of 5 that day! So we got married at 11 AM and we had the wedding coordinator for that time. They really made everything as easy as could be! The wedding coordinator was very sweet and made sure everything was perfect.
The Bad: Our ceremony was wonderful except you could not here the officiant and I had to speak much louder so everyone could hear me. The person putting on our mini reception cut Peadar this huge piece of cake to feed me (it was supposed to be a one bite piece) and the cake nearly choked me and I almost threw it up on my dress.
The Ugly: Before I arrived to our ceremony which was around 25 after the guests and the groom, maintenance workers were painting a building and on the only walk way the I would walk through. They were painting with blue paint so Peadar was concerned that they were not cleaning up although the wedding coordinator told them twice to stop and pack up since the Bride had to walk through. They didn't listen and even Peadar went and said something. He as more concerned with them spilling paint and it getting on my dress. They did clean up but not until about 2 minutes before I arrived!
