Totally copying
@amorg334 and posting my good/bad/ugly from my wedding on Dec 24 in Hawaii
Good: My location was really beautiful I had only seen pictures of it before so I'm glad it looked nice in person too haha Nobody really went crazy or had any freak outs which happened at my brother in laws wedding so we were a little worried about that! My officiant was soo nice and wonderful and she did such a beautiful job for the ceremony, I got an on site coordinator kind of last minute through my wedding planner company and I'm so glad I got her because she was very helpful. My hair and makeup person did a really good job I was a little worried about trusting someone else with my makeup but she was AMAZING she made me look so beautiful it was ridiculous. I need to just have her do my makeup everyday lol I ALMOST didn't cry saying my vows..hahahahaha
Bad: Our limo driver was supposed to drive my husband and I to the park where we were getting married at a couple hours early to meet the photographers for photos but the photographers called when we wer just leaving the hotel and asked if we could meet them somewhere 5 minutes before the park so that we could do some pictures at that location and then they would drive us to the park after for the rest of the pictures. So we told our limo driver where it was and he went the complete wrong direction....so we ended up being about half an hour late to meet the photographers but at least we made it! Then he told the shuttle van drivers who were driving our guests that they were to go to that location before the park..........so our families get there and they are like I don't think this is right....so there was a little bit of confusion there but like I said it was 5 minutes from the park so they made it too haha. It rained a little bit while we were doing photos and I should have hidden from the rain but I was sooo hot that I just stayed out in it and didn't care so my curls in my hair just got totally wrecked especially because it was also really windy out haha but oh well. I didn't care too much. We went to a luau for the reception and it was awesome but my little sister is 20 and we are Canadian so she has been able to drink here since she was 18 but in the states she can't so they actually ID'd us but my husband's sister in law is pregnant so she shimmied the wristband off and gave it to my sister so she could drink haha so it ended up working out fine haha.
Ugly: ...I really can't think of anything I would put in this category haha OH WAIT. My husband HATES having his picture taken. and we had 2 hours of photography before the ceremony in the bright sun and scorching heat which he also hates. He was wearing pants and a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up a bit so he was dying of heat. A few times he got almost to his breaking point getting so sick of the pictures I thought he would snap but he did really well and managed to keep his calm for the most part and we made it through the pictures haha I told him how much it meant to me that he pushed through and that we would never have to do it again lol im just hoping he doesnt look miserable in those ones haha. I know he looked happy when we were getting married so those ones will be awesome and whenever we were looking at each other he was smiling so those ones will be good too haha
Anyway overall it went smoothly and wonderful and I'm so glad I did it in Hawaii. It is so beautiful there. We will definitely be going back!! I wish we could have stayed there forever instead of coming back to Canadian winter
